Courage Counseling
Courage gets a lot of credit for looking heroic, valorous or intrepid. Sometimes it is. Sometimes it's making a life-changing decision, walking away from something unhealthy, or having the conversation you've been avoiding for years.
But more often?
Courage is much quieter. It's getting out of bed after a hard week. It's asking for help when you're used to carrying everything yourself. It's setting a boundary even though your voice shakes.
It's admitting you're exhausted. It's letting someone see the parts of you you've worked so hard to hide.
It's coming to therapy even when you're not sure where to start.
At Courage Counseling, I don't expect you to arrive fearless. Fear is part of being human.
I simply believe you don't have to face it alone.
Some days courage looks like taking a giant leap.
Most days, it looks like whispering, "I'll try again tomorrow."
Both count.
